Important COVID-19 update

Once again, it is time to #StayatHomeandReadJane.

Following the HM Government announcement on Saturday 31st October, Jane Austen’s House will be closed to the public from Thursday 5th November. All tickets already purchased for visits during this time will be rescheduled for when the museum is able to reopen. If you have booked tickets for the museum over this time, and have not received an email from us by the end of the day on Sunday 1st November, please do get in touch via enquiries@janeaustens.house

We have temporarily suspended ticket sales, but hope to reopen sales later this month.

In the meantime, you can still ā€˜visit’ Jane Austen’s House from the comfort (and warmth!) of your own home at any time of day, and from anywhere in the world through our online tour and our special online exhibitions.

Sending all our best love and thoughts to you and yours, from the whole team at Jane Austen’s House during these strange times.
