Writing Competition winners announced!
Earlier this year we launched a writing competition, ‘Little Matters and Universal Truths’, inspired by Jane Austen’s life, home and genius – and in response to lockdown and the small-scale way in which we’ve all been living our lives this year. The competition was generously supported by Art Fund and East Hampshire District Council, and was all about taking inspiration from everyday details.
We were absolutely overwhelmed with the response, with over 500 entries from all across the globe. Entries came in from Zimbabwe, Australia, India, Sweden, Malaysia, Italy and Ghana to name just a few – as well as plenty from here in the UK, and our home in Hampshire.
