Subtext: Artist Talks

Our current display 'Subtext: Art inspired by Jane Austen's House' sees thirteen students from the UCA Fine Art MA course present new artworks in response to Jane Austen's House, life, works and legacy. Join them to hear more about their artworks, inspiration and process.

Subtext is an exciting display of new artworks created by MA Fine Art students from UCA Farnham. Artworks have been created in response to Jane Austenā€™s House, life and writings, and are displayed around the House, in dialogue with our rooms, objects and stories.

In this series of short artist talks, the students present their work, discuss their inspiration and reveal their process.
