SchoolsTelling the story of Jane Austen’s house, life and legacy, for all ages
NEW: Virtual School Trips
Whilst we cannot welcome schools in person at the moment, we are delighted to offer the online equivalent!
Our Virtual School Trip is a fun new concept for secondary school students. Bring your class or year group to us for a break from the online classroom. In this hour long event, they will enjoy an enthusiastic introduction to Austen, a mini tour of the House using our virtual tour, and a range of interactive activities and exercises. There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and take part.
Led by our Emerging Museum Professionals, this fun, informal event aims to inspire a greater interest in Jane Austen’s life, works and legacy. It can also be tailored to suit your needs – would you like a focus on a specific novel, or on creative writing? No problem! Just let us know when you book.
Virtual School Trips can be arranged at a time to suit you. They normally last one hour, and cost £150 per group.
Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org for more details and bookings.
