Emma
Join us for a unique virtual guided tour of Jane Austen’s House. Following in Janeās footsteps, we’ll explore the rooms where Emma was written and learn about her inspirations for the novel.
Weāll also take a close look at one of our first editions of Emma, hear the story of the novelās publication and Jane Austenās dedication to the Prince Regent, and examine her correspondence with the Royal librarian.
This light-hearted and enjoyable virtual tour shines a light on objects and stories that relate to Jane Austenās classic novel; it offers the opportunity to examineĀ and enjoy Emma, and to experience Jane Austenās House and collection in a new way.
With plenty of time to ask questions, this is a unique opportunity to to indulge our love of the well-meaning but misguided heroine of whom Jane Austen famously declared āno one but myself will much likeā.
