Throughout her life, Jane Austen was surrounded by sisters – from her own beloved sister Cassandra, her honorary sisters Martha Lloyd and Fanny Knight, and her multiple sister-in laws! Sisters also abound in her novels, including the intimate relationships of Marianne and Elinor, and Lizzy and Jane. Although they are not always the most desirable of siblings…!

This exclusive, early-morning guided tour will celebrate sisters throughout Jane’s life and her novels. Led by an expert guide, in each room of the House you will discover objects and stories relating to Jane Austen’s family and characters.
