Jane Austen’s House will host a series of festivals throughout 2025 to celebrate Jane Austen’s special anniversary year.
Our autumn festival will be themed around Jane Austen’s last completed novel, Persuasion, with a particular focus on poetry, walking and nature.
Tuning into the turning of the seasons, the festival programme will offer a range of creative workshops designed to slow you down, teach you new skills and offer the satisfaction of making and craft.
We’ll be partnering with Winchester Poetry Festival to deliver a range of poetry talks and workshops, including another event at our favourite local bookshop Goldfinch Books in Alton.
We’re also looking forward to more of our popular ‘Reading Aloud’ performances in the Drawing Room, workshops on mindful painting and autumnal botanicals, Persuasion-themed tours, a range of expert talks, and free drop in events such as our popular Sewing Circle.
The festival programme will also include plenty of online events so you can join in from wherever you are in the world!
The full programme and tickets will go on sale soon!
