10:00am â 4:00pm
Join us at Jane Austen’s House for an inspiring and energising workshop for 12-16 year olds, with actor and workshop leader Alasdair Craig. Together, we will dive head-first into the world of Pride & Prejudice, Jane Austen’s most famous novel.
As part of a small group, participants will use fun, interactive games, improvisation exercises, discussion and debate to explore the themes of the novel and to get to know the characters â from Elizabeth Bennet, Jane Austenâs original âobstinate headstrong girlâ, to rich, arrogant Mr Darcy, outrageous Mrs Bennet, silly Lydia and dashing Wickham.
The group will be limited to 15 participants, so everyone will get the chance to join in, share theirs views and get to know each other. Social and great fun, this inspiring day will build confidence and creativity. It is the perfect opportunity to meet other young people who enjoy learning through theatre games and drama.
No previous drama experience is required â just bring your imagination!
