Over tea and cake, Remona will share her own personal journey with the classic, highlighting some of her favourite scenes, characters and moments from the novel, and will invite others to share their own love affair with the novel and what Austen’s world means for them. Enjoy a conversation on everything from country walks and obnoxious proposals to smelling salts and scandalous elopements!

Remona Aly is a journalist and broadcaster with a focus on faith, lifestyle and identity. She writes for The Guardian, is a resident Pause for Thought contributor on BBC Radio 2 on the Scott Mills Breakfast Show, and presented BBC Radio 4’s Something Understood. She recently began reporting for BBC One’s Sunday Morning Live, and also presents podcasts across various platforms.
