There is much to discover throughout the village including beautiful parkland with a play area, Chawton House (the house that belonged to Jane Austen’s brother), St Nicholas Church where the graves of Jane Austen’s mother and sister are located, as well as a statue of Jane Austen. There are several walks and trails also to be followed in the village and surrounding area.
