Art Fund Reimagine Grant

We are delighted to announce that Jane Austen's House will be the recipient of an Art Fund Reimagine Grant, which will allow us to develop and deliver an inspiring new Learning programme. Thank you Art Fund!

We are delighted to announce that Jane Austen’s House has been awarded a grant in Round 3 of Art Fund’s Reimagine Grants, for a project entitled ‘Creativity & Curriculum: Engaging Today’s Young People with Jane Austen’s Eternal Themes’.

This project will see us empower young people to engage with the themes of Jane Austen’s work, including the role of women at home and in society, the impact of Empire, social inequality and personal freedoms, through enhanced school sessions, online resources and a refit of the Learning Centre.

The project will kick off in spring 2022 and run for 18 months. Watch this space for more news on the project!
